Update: Walk Off The Earth (or walk off the world as they sing in this masterpiece) is out with their new album, probably the first where their full potential shows, that's what the already-released-singles say at least. You can find it on itunes, R.E.V.O. is the title.

Mina damer och herrar, låt mig presentera en danska som förtjänar en plats bland världens mest fantastiska musiker, Anne Dorte Michelsen.

Trogen sin tid skapas här slingor av mystisk musik, men det är de danska sjungna, bitvis nästan utsagda, lyrics som skapar magiska, lockande toner. Det är musik som fyller upp ett rum, tar med oss till Annes egna värld, vi vandrar genom skogar, över mossor, ser upp mot himlen... Cindy Lauper-influensen hörs, liksom de skandinaviska balladernas, men det är ändå Michelsens egna tolkning, egna blues.
Cindy Laupers:
Det är samma sorts bakgrundsmusik, samma sätt att mystifiera och låta rösten måla profilen över de mjuka, nästan trevande tonerna.
Michelsens 1990, inte lika lik Cindy som från 86-albumet, men ändå:
